While registrations remain below pre-pandemic levels, the UK new van market enjoyed its first month of growth all year in September, as the new ‘72’ plate fuelled demand. The latest figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) show just under 35,000 new vans were registered last month, up 10.8 percent on the same month last year.
